2025-26 UNSGC Competitive Proposal Submission Sheet
Proposal submission sheet should be the first page of submission of the entire document. This page specifies the UNSGC opportunity you are applying for as well as which NASA Mission Directorate your proposal is aligned with.

2025-26 UNSGC Faculty Research Seed Funding Award Opportunity
Proposals Due:  April 2, 2025
New and early career faculty (assistant professor or recently promoted associate professor level faculty) at Utah NASA Space Grant Consortium (UNSGC) affiliated institutions are invited to submit proposals to the Faculty Research Seed Funding Program. Each proposer may request a maximum funding level of $25,000. Cost share is required at 50% of the funds being proposed.

2025-26 UNSGC Higher Education MInigrant Award Opportunity
Proposals Due: April 2, 2025
Faculty at Utah NASA Space Grant Consortium (UNSGC) affiliated institutions are invited to submit proposals to the Higher Education MInigrant Award Program. Each proposer may request a funding level up to $12,000, including travel costs. Funds are not required to be matched this year but any voluntary cost share should be documented.

2025-26 UNSGC K-12 Educational Award Opportunity
Proposals Due: April 2, 2025
Faculty at Utah NASA Space Grant Consortium (UNSGC) affiliated institutions are invited to submit proposals to the K-12 Educational Award Program. Each proposer may request a maximum funding level of $5,000. Funds are not required to be matched this year but any voluntary cost share should be documented.

Appendix 8
Appendix 8 was included in the Notice of Funding Opportunity (EONS-2024) solicitation for our 2025-2029 Space Grant base award funding. We are required to align all Space Grant funding and projects within the parameters of the five NASA Mission Directorates: (1) Aeronautics Research Mission Directorate, ARMD; (2) Space Operations Mission Directorate. SOMD; (3) Exploration Systems Development Mission Directorate, ESDMD; (4) Science Mission Directorate, SMD; and (5) Space Technology Mission Directorate, STMD. Please use this document as guidance to formulate your proposal to align proposed projects within one of the NASA Mission Directorates.
